Who You Are Hiring

Founded by a law enforcement specialist. Staffed by people trained the same way.

Chris started Midnight Run Locksmith after a career carrying a badge and a private investigator’s license. He and his team take pride in the work — whether that is one bad afternoon or a security process you will run for the next ten years.

Who runs Midnight Run Locksmith

Midnight Run Locksmith is a locally owned Tulsa, Oklahoma locksmith company founded by Chris, a law enforcement specialist and licensed private investigator, and operating in the metro since 2004. Chris and his team are well-trained, certified and highly experienced with real-world threats, and they bring situational analysis and practical security technique to every job. We work two ways: solving a one-time occurrence such as a lockout, a break-in or a departure, and building lasting security processes — key control, master key systems and restricted keyways — that are documented and followed to the letter. Oklahoma locksmith license #AC1465.

A locksmith's bench: a pinning tray of brass pins, a cylinder plug, key blanks and a written keying schedule.
The tray, the plug and the written schedule — the part of the job you never see, and the part that decides whether your keys stay yours.

Before Midnight Run, Chris carried a badge. He still holds a private investigator’s license, and the sister company — Midnight Run Services — handles process service and investigations for attorneys across northeast Oklahoma.

That background is the reason this company runs the way it does. Most locksmiths are trained on hardware. We were trained on how people actually get through a door, who tends to be standing on the other side of it, and what a building looks like to someone deciding whether to try. Then we learned the hardware.

Twenty years in the Tulsa metro, one reputation to protect, and a team held to the standard Chris was held to.

What the background changes

Trained for the threat, not just the lock

Anyone can fit a deadbolt. The difference is knowing which door on your building is the one that matters.

Situational analysis

We read the whole opening, not just the lock on it — approach, sightlines, lighting, hinge side, what fails first and what an intruder would actually try.

Real-world threat experience

A law enforcement and investigations background means the threats we plan around are ones we have seen, not ones from a catalogue.

Trained, certified, vetted

Everyone who works on your property is trained to the same standard and background-checked. A locksmith holds your keys; vetting is not a formality here.

Written, repeatable process

What was keyed, what was replaced and who holds which key — recorded every time, so the plan survives staff changes and the next visit.

How people use us

One bad afternoon, or a process you keep

A ONE-TIME OCCURRENCE

Something happened today

A lockout, a forced door, a lost key set, a staff member who left without handing anything back. We handle it once, properly, and leave the opening working the way it should.

  • Emergency lockouts, day or night
  • Repair after a forced entry — frame, strike, cylinder, closer
  • Same-visit rekey so the old keys stop working
  • A written record of what was done

A LASTING SECURITY PROCESS

Something you run for years

A keying plan designed around your people, documented, and followed to the letter — so the answer to “who can open this door?” is always on paper, not in somebody’s memory.

  • Master key systems with room to grow
  • Restricted keyways — no copies without your authorisation
  • A key register: who holds what, issued when
  • Customer-specific inventory, so changes are not a special order
  • Scheduled reviews as tenants, staff and doors change

How We Work

Four commitments that come with the license

Our own team, never a subcontractor

You are not handed to a stranger from a dispatch board. The people who arrive are ours, trained by us, and known to you by name.

Written key records

Every rekey, master system and restricted keyway leaves a document showing what was keyed and who holds what.

Repair before replace

If the hardware can be corrected, we correct it. Replacement is a recommendation, not a default upsell.

Priced on the phone

You get a number before we roll. The price at your door is the price you were told.

Twenty years, one phone number.
